Bulldog Camps was established in the 1880's as a set of logging camps and has been operating as a remote sporting camp since the turn of the century. Bulldog is located in a remote wilderness area in the western part of the state surrounded by Maine's beautiful mountains and woods. The hardwood ridges and softwood lowlands all around the Allagash country, are home to some monster whitetail bucks. This hunting isn't for everybody, but those who crave the lure of the big north woods, the possibilty of a trophy of a lifetime is real.Patten Maine, located on the north side of Mt. Katahdin, is a beautiful and bountiful habitat for moose, bear, deer and small game. The Patten Hunting Lodge is owned by Bill Finney, a registered Maine Guide since 1976, who has hunted this region for many more. Our drop camps are located on the Grand Mesa National Forest which offers some of the best elk and deer hunting in the state. We will pack you in and provide the tent, propane stove (for heat), propane cook stove, propane lantern, cooking and eating utensils, sleeping cots, and foam pads. Where is the Bradford Camps?
